How we work?

 

VIDA DIGNA carries out its work mainly in low income districts in Lima and the peruvian provinces. We focus mainly on:

Protection: Through shelters for rescued animals and their subsequent adoption by appropriate homes. (See anex A)

Promotion: We wish to spread our knowledge and experiences of reciprocity between animals and humans. The purpose behind this is to revaluate all species and the role they play in the world, and thus promote the declaration of animals rights. (See anex B)

Prevention: We want to achieve this through education on respect for all forms of life, civil responsabilities and training about the adequate caring of animals. We direct this mainly to children and young people in the lower income districts. (See anex C) 

Survival: By educating, and coordinating preventive health measures for animals with local veterinarians in lower income districts. (See anex D)

All activities will be carried out in coordination with community organizations, wether they are regional, national or foreign, emphasizing the participation of the neediest sectors of society.
